The initial consultation focuses on you having the opportunity to discuss your health in depth. The initial questioning includes describing the character of pain/complaint, aggravating and relieving factors and the onset as well as progression of symptoms. The practitioner will carry out an assessment of movement, posture and a combination of orthopedic tests and system examinations (cardiology, respiratory, abdominal and neurological) where applicable to determine a diagnosis.
A diagnosis of the underlying cause will be discussed and explained how it can be resolved. A diagnosis is beneficial as gives reasoning as to why certain movements aggravate pains. A time frame of how longer recovery should be is also discussed based on the diagnosis.
A treatment plan will be made which is individually tailored to you! The treatment plan will include hands on Osteopathic treatment that incorporates physical manipulation, stretching, massage to reduce muscle tension, increase mobility and further enhance blood supply to tissues which further aids the body’s own healing mechanism.
Exercise, lifestyle and nutrition based plans are also incorporated in the treatment plan to give you the tools to self-manage for long term improved health. Exercises given will be progressed each time in further consultations to aid recovery alongside hands on treatment.

"Darryl and the team are great! Would recommend them to anyone, I was struggling with chronic wrist pain and weakness which was effecting my work and one session with Darryl sorted it. I had seen a few therapists in the past with short term pain relief, it has now been a few months and still have no problems with my wrists! The clinic is clean, professional and all their cover procedures made me feel safe attending my appointment"

I have attended Osteo suite at Briton Ferry, exceptional that’s all I can say, the treatment was exactly what I needed as I’d suffered a bad fall on my knee, so lovely to be pain free again. Daryl is so professional and friendly, I have so much confidence in his work that I’m happy to give him my full support. He very thorough and explains everything so you can help yourself going forward with quicker recovery.
I would highly recommend to anyone who suffers with a trapped nerve. I was in pain for weeks until someone said I needed to see an osteopath. I’m so glad I did. After 4 treatments with Darryl it’s now sorted and I’m pain free. Thank you
